A world of curiosities and surprises, where, every day, creatures big and small bite off more than they can chew.
(pea-rexes growling) Join us as we follow the adventures of Ginger, a young tricarrotops, and her unlikely little friends, three baby pea-rexes, Wasabi, Split, and Minty, as they discover the many wonders that exist in this vast valley!
- Woohoo!
This is Ginger and the "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle music) - We're almost there.
- [Narrator] Baby Pea-Rexes love a good surprise.
- No peeking.
Now open.
(Pea-Rexes gasp) (Pea-Rexes giggle) Hey, no fair!
They got here before us.
I wanted this place to ourselves.
(feet thumping) (bright music) What are they doing?
- [Narrator] At the start of summer, Coconutdons and Pineapplesaurus gather together to take part in an extraordinary event.
(exciting music) The Pineapplesaurus use their spiky tails to clean the hairy husks of the Coconutdons.
(exciting music continues) (Pea-Rexes giggling and moaning) In return, the Pineapplesaurus get to strengthen their mighty tails.
One helps the other.
- Whoa, I want to go that fast.
- [Narrator] Unfortunately, Coconutdons find waiting in line a real challenge.
(underbrush rustling) - They'll have heaps more fun if they take turns.
Hmm.
If we help them, maybe they'll finish sooner.
Then we get to play.
Hey, down here!
Everybody!
Anybody?
Somebody!
(Pea-Rexes whistling) - [Narrator] They may look big and tough but Coconutdons are extremely sensitive to high-pitched sounds.
Pea-Rexes can create all sorts of whistles that can command even the biggest of creatures.
(whistling continues) - Wow!
Where'd you learn to whistle like that?
(Pea-Rex mumbles) Okay, do your whistling thing.
- Yay.
(Pea-Rexes whistling) Whoa, whoa.
No.
Wait.
One at a time.
Not all at once!
(whistling continues) (Ginger blowing raspberry) I can't whistle!
Stop them!
(Pea-Rexes whistling) We need to work together.
Whoa.
Ah!
(exciting music) (Ginger grunts) Whoa.
Whoa!
Oh, it's cold.
(Pea-Rexes whistling) - [Narrator] Now there are too many Coconutdons for the Pineapplesaurus to handle.
Oh dear.
- Whoa!
A little help here!
(Pea-Rexes moaning) (Ginger shouts) (Ginger moans) (Pea-Rexes whistling) (Ginger gasps) - [Narrator] After some trial and error, the baby Pea-Rexes found the right whistle.
(whistling continues) (gentle music) (whistling continues) (gentle music continues) As quickly as it began, the deep cleanse is over.
(gentle music continues) - Phew.
Thanks for saving me.
I almost became mash.
(all laughing) Gotta say.
That was fun.
At least we have the place to ourselves now.
(Pea-Rexes cheering) Time to rock and roll.
- [Narrator] Vegesaur Valley's very roll bowl!
(Ginger laughing) (all laughing) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - [Narrator] The Cucumberdile is one of the most feared Vegesaurs in the valley.
Well, maybe just the adult Cucumberdiles.
(Vegesaurs chattering) While they spend most of their time asleep, when they do wake, it's always on the wrong side of the riverbed.
Luckily, for the land-Vegesaurs, Cucmberdiles' eyes dry up out of the water, which affects their ability to see.
(light music) - [Narrator] It's the late Crunchiest period, when the world was dominated by the juiciest and freshest creatures ever to rule the planet, the mighty "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) (dramatic music) - This is going to be so amazing.
- [Narrator] For this herd of young cornorsauphus, it is an exciting day.
They are about to pop their yellow kernels and make way for fresh regrowth.
It is all part of growing up.
(corn kernels popping) - (gasping) Whoa.
(corn kernels popping) So amazing!
(dramatic music) - [Narrator] In Vegesaur Valley, nothing is wasted, especially freshly popped corn kernels.
(dramatic music) Once popped, the cornorsauphus must leave, for risk of burning their tender fresh husks.
(cornorsaurus grunting) - Oh, poor thing, he hasn't popped.
We have to help.
Come on.
(gentle music) Hi, I'm Ginger, and these are my friends.
Sorry, my best friends.
Minty, Wasabi, and Split.
We're here to help.
Try taking a big breath, (breathing in) close your eyes, and push as hard as you can, like this.
Really push!
(Ginger grunting) (Ginger farting) (Ginger laughing) Oops.
(Minty, Wasabi, and Split laughing) Okay, what about, oh, why don't you go up there, where it's really hot?
That could make you pop.
(playful music) We can go with you.
What do you say, gang?
(playful music) (cornoraurus grunting) Great, let's go.
(dramatic music) (Ginger breathing hard) It's really getting hot up here.
Whose idea was this again?
Oh wait, mine.
(Ginger panting) (dramatic music) That looks hotter than hot.
It's working.
(playful music) Wow, it's really working.
Hang on, that's not you.
(Ginger gasping) - [Narrator] The volcano's about to erupt.
- I'm sorry, but we have to go now.
You did your best.
This way.
(dramatic music) Let's get out of here.
(dramatic music) Whoa!
Whoa!
(Minty, Wasabi, and Split screaming) (dramatic music) Nice catch.
(dramatic music) - [Narrator] If they stop now, they'll all be volcanic mash.
(dramatic music) - There's no way round.
(dramatic music) (cornorsaurus grunting) (potato dogs gasping) (dramatic music) - [Narrator] The potato dogs have formed a bridge.
- Come on!
(dramatic music) Thank you.
(dramatic music) We made it.
Whew!
It's gotten hotter down here.
Maybe you could try again.
- Ooh!
Ooh!
(Ginger gasping) (Minty, Wasabi, and Split screaming) - I've gotcha.
(playful music) Now, that was a tough patch.
(cornorsaurus giggling) (gentle music) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - Let's sing a song together!
(laughs) Hiya!
